I do not usually write a review however, I have been going to Gil's Garage since they opened in the late 60's in Burnt Hills and trust them 100% to do the job right at a reasonable price. Mike, Linda and Holly have carried on their fathers' legacy of honesty, job excellence, respect for the customer and their vehicle, friendly and reliable service. Their entire staff follows their example and treats you like family. It's like taking your car to your Uncle Larry to fix, if your Uncle is an expert mechanic. I was very happy when they opened their Clifton Park shop as I had moved there over 40 years ago and this made it more convenient for me and their other customers in this area. One of my cars is a Corvette and let me assure you that we are very particular about who we let work on our Vettes. Mine and my daughters are serviced at Gil's because we know that the staff routinely attend specialized training courses and are up to date on all the latest techniques and problems. As important, we know they will treat our Vettes, as they do with all their customers cars, with the respect and care they would their own car. Gil's gets 5 stars for Service, Value, Reliability, Honesty and Customer Relations.

I stopped by with a burned out headlight. They took me in right away and it was fixed in about a half-hour. My other headlight had burned out this summer, without me realizing it. I had my car at the dealership for recall warranty repairs, and they said they would replace the headlight. I was pretty sure I was overcharged, but didn't want to get a ticket. The bill was $30 more than Gil's charged. Thanks for fair prices, Gil's!

Great work as usual. Made appointment for oil change and inspection for first thing in morning, was done in an hour and on my way. Thanks Gil's !

Excellent service and attention to detail.

I brought my '89 Mercedes-Benz 190e 2.6 in to Gil's for the first time in need of some preventive maintenance using "BG Products". The technician assigned to work on my vehicle, "Mike", was exceptional. Before starting, he sat down with me and reviewed the previous maintenance history, the work I had requested and further suggested some other beneficial options. While the car was up on the rack, he brought me into the service bay for a walk-around and pointed out some issues for my interest to be serviced at a later date. All work performed was done in a very competent and timely manner. Likewise, the entire Gil's staff was both friendly and helpful. The overall appearance of this service facility reminded me of a F1 racing garage I had the pleasure of visiting many years ago.

The appointment was for a routine chassis lub. and tire rotation. I really appreciated being able to get the truck in promptly. The work was completed in a friendly, polite, and professional manner. Thank you.

Even though I had some problems with factory parts and had to be out of a car longer than I expected it was worth it I was treated very respectfully from all staff something Iam not used to from past garages I dealt with. Thank You very much.
