I found Gil's Garage shortly after returning to the Capital Region, and I have no intention of ever doing business anywhere else. The staff have been nothing but extremely informative going out of their way to research the specific needs of my vehicle. More importantly, they are honest and transparent. Recently, I visited Gil's for a transmission flush. As my vehicle requires a distinct fluid brand, the service required special ordering, and unfortunately, a more expensive bill due to the fluid's cost. After enjoying the free coffee and WiFi in the waiting room, it was my turn to checkout. I was pleasantly surprised to see the bill was $25 less than what I was previously told when making my appointment. I discovered that the service required less fluid and I was credited the difference. While this may seem obvious, I have dealt with enough garages to not take their honestly for granted. Moreover, I was also offered a discount coupon I was unaware existed, which saved me an additional $20. I love this place.
